ojaven.

A platform for modern agencies.

These are my own notes as the founder: why I started it, where it is, and what I'm learning. For the product itself, visit the official site.

Founder's notes

Answers in my own words. The bracketed parts are still to be written.

Why I'm building it

I co-run Vertexa Digitals, a marketing agency where we've used GoHighLevel for years. Running an agency on legacy tools meant hitting documented pain points daily: steep 4-week learning curves, brittle automations that misfire, compounding costs that easily balloon to $1,500+/mo, and keyword-based bots that fail real conversations. Vertexa is Ojaven's first customer — we are dogfooding every single feature we build.

The problem I see

Most agency platforms today predate the modern AI era and are drowning under bloated, pre-2018 architecture. Agencies get trapped paying 6.75x markups on basic infrastructure, dealing with fragile third-party integrations, and managing disconnected tools. The market doesn't need another shallow AI demo wrapper; it needs a rock-solid operational system built with deep, hands-on agency expertise.

What I want it to become

Full GoHighLevel feature parity across all major modules — CRM, pipelines, proposals, invoicing, omnichannel inbox, funnels, calendars, marketing campaigns, and white-label sub-accounts — rebuilt cleaner and faster. On top of that foundation sits our native three-pillar AI suite: AI Builder (plain-language asset creation), AI Capture (intelligent lead qualification), and AI Migration (automated switching from GHL).

What I'm learning

Breadth first, then targeted depth. Having 23 modular areas work cohesively in an idempotent, clean architecture matters more than adding surface-level bloat. And automated tests only prove logic, not delivery — real click-testing and runtime validation against actual databases and providers is what catches critical flaws before they ever touch a user.
